Thank-you! Is your tree up yet? I bet you have some great ornaments to hang from it!
I'm making lots of cards of this picture with glitter powder, we're having a christmas lights fayre tomorrow evening!
I was listening to the Doris Day Christmas Album drawing this picture, it's really festive you would like it I think! [link] this is one of them. Just need some hot chocolate and the day will be perfect!
Thanks for the link! Lovely! I love Doris Day and have most of her movies. I was practically brought up on musicals!
I've got both my trees up now. I usually have just the one - the traditional Victorian red, gold and green theme, but I bought a beautiful white tree this year and decorated it with silver ornaments. I'll be taking photos and posting them at DA!
I like doris too, when a good neighbour of ours died the cd player turned on by itself and started playing her singing "it's magic" that was a special moment!!
Sounds nice with your trees, I've seen your latest pictures they looks beautiful and traditional too - just my cup of tea! Two trees as well, I bet you have been planning it all year. Can't wait to see the other pictures!
The story with the cd player turning on by itself is both spooky and special, if you know what I mean. It would make me feel both nervous and hopeful.
The white tree was a sudden impulse buy, though I have been dithering for years about having a white tree. So maybe you could call it a long term subtle planning!!
I always love things traditonal. My sister has a black Christmas tree and though it is very pretty, it isn't my kind of Christmas. I love anything Victorian so their traditional Christmas colours appeal to me the most. D I'm guessing that you have the traditional type of tree too?
Must admit I did get a bit of a "shiver" when I realised it was playing by itself but also a smile because he was a cheeky man
I do like white trees, no-one else in this house does otherwise there would be one, they can be just as beautiful as the normal trees and probably more stunning, like you not so sure about black ones - that's too way out for a traditionalist!!
I have a nice tree, it looks like a real one only it is very tall and thin so it fits in the living room without getting in the way. It was also very cheap because I bought it a few days before Christmas which made it all the more exciting otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford it (poor artist!) I have lots of baubles in different colours, mostly traditional ones, beads, thin tinsel and white lights, but it doesn't get put up until quite near the day cos I'm a bit of a scrooge lol
